Is there anything that will rip your heart apart than to have 2 innocent puppies ripped from your arms, stolen to parts unknown by an opportunistic wench without feeling? It is akin to losing a child!
In the silence of a beautiful New Mexico afternoon this woman named Laree Bice, using cunning of sneakiness walked onto a land that appears to be that of milk and honey. With guile and vile jealousy she walked scanning around to see what was there for the taking.
The ranch only became such a diamond thru blood, sweat, and tears from hot summer days and brow drenching hard work over 20 years of planting grass, trees, and flowers while also building a business from the ground up as a Breeder of a majestic breed of dogs known as The American Akita. Thoroughbred Race Horses and Quarter Horses clicked their hooves in the dirt at the far end of the ranch, while chickens chatted nearby. Hard gut wrenching work and heart ache from sudden death striking down a foul or litter of pups without warning went into one woman's life's work for both life and a home on her own terms. The American Dream and a gift to leave her children made this diamond sparkle in the afternoon sun.
Lazily lounging off beyond the pile of litter mates in a nearby corner she spotted 2 innocent pups sunning themselves. With a single snatch and grab their world was shattered, ripping them not only from the loving family they knew but taken from their mother and siblings and a future of people already having bought them with their own hopes and dreams of family love. The pups huddled together as the red car screeched away. God only knows how fast their little hearts were beating as they were tossed about without care to their wellbeing.
Her face does not imply the sinister motives and cruelty she lives.
Here is where the story tore my heart apart. One of the puppies is called Tippe-toes because he was born with a birth-defect never before in this special line of animals. Over 40 years of painstaking record keeping, hours of pouring over details of DNA bloodlines to ensure a healthy line of Akita's that are literally well know for health and amazing pedigrees, particularly a coveted calm loving demeanor, and spoken with reverence throughout the entire North American Continent lives in these two babies. Sadly somewhere in the gene pool Tippe-toes was short changed. Yet that did not deter DenverAkita's owner from finding out how to help this little man and find a home that wanted him no matter what. Already in love, ready, willing and able to afford the surgeries necessary to save his leg so he has an opportunity to be a fulfilled happy dog he was spoken for! He was already someone else's baby!
There is no money to be made here. There never was. It is and always has been for the love of the breed Donna is the amazing Breeder she is. Both gifted and passionate about her work she takes amazing pride and joy in joining families with their forever loving little fur babies, and has the joy of working with her daughter Shawna.
Now hearts are shattering far and wide, from the ranch to two special groups of people and their children, their hopes and dreams on the line, up in the air and fearing for the safety of the puppies, but worse than that Tippe-toes has a very short window of hope. He needs the Vet NOW!
None of us can stomach the thought of what happens if the police do not find him in time, nor can we speak it!
Whispers and tears of prayers is all we have. So I decided to write this story. Plead for everyone in this great nation to look for this woman, thief, extortionist of funds, killer of dreams attempting to ransom the puppies back all the while trying to sell them outright in 7 different places in the country on Craigslist.
What drives people like this to be so cruel and mean not to one person but many unsuspecting innocent souls? Was Laree at one time hurt? Didn't it teach here to never inflict on others your pain because you are not willing to work to have the things you want. Doesn't she get it though the diamond appearance of the ranch is just that an appearance. This is not an extravagant place but a home filled with love that's spread out for animals and kept clean for the love of them. Everything made is returned right back into the livestock and Akitas so they eat well, live wonderful lives and the family eats while teaching her children a valuable trade to do what they love most help the animals.
Questions abound as to why someone would act so maliciously but the fact is she is endangering an animals life!
She has tried extortion to get money and keeps spinning her lies via the internet's all to incognito aid on Craigslist. The police go to the door but she doesn't answer and they can't break it in without cause. She is a known Elderly Care Giver, good help who she works for or with! She is texting the owners of DenverAkita's admitting what she has done and threatening to leave the state. The gall of this woman is the abyss of a thief that has no concept of the harm she is doing to many people and animals and children.
Her charges to date are lies and Trespassing, Theft, Willful Endangerment of Animals, Extortion, Threatening bodily harm and the list keeps on going.
It should be said she has her own child with her, but then I wonder is it even her's? What is this child learning? How scared must she be! How lost this little girl is breaks my heart. Who is missing her, wanting to fight for her and can't find this woman posing as all sorts of different people. Is she Laree Bice as she states on Facebook or Rose Larell according to her email?
She needs to be found. Won't you all help us find her and save the puppies and the child? Let's be a village today on the internet and stop the lies.
